Hello Bakersfield. Please join us for our brand new segment, 'Community Conversations', where we explore important social issues impacting our community and invite you, our listeners, to join in on the dialogue.

In today's episode, we are joined by a very special guest and community leader, Traco Matthews. Together, we have a raw and candid discussion regarding the murder of George Floyd, the 'Black Lives Matter' movement, and the racial inequality that exists in Bakersfield (and Kern County). Most importantly, we discuss the fears we face as a community, the responsibility we have to be advocates, and what we can do as a collective to “Be Bold” and become change agents in order to end the racial disparities that still exist in our communities.
